Recently this improvised and modest ‘camp’ appeared on the steps of an empty building in Chermside where my bus stops on its in-bound journey along Gympie Road. It is a reminder that ‘suburban homelessness’, as something I have previously noted in this blog, is visible, pressing and present in suburban areas.
